Technology provides us with many opportunities to meet and learn from each other across borders, oceans and time zones!

The first meeting of the SPICA intensive course 2016 was successfully conducted online. 5 mixed groups of students from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Greenland met for an hour to get to know each other and discuss didactical ideas and experiences.

The seminars were based on a set of videos and lecture materials that the students had watched before the meeting. Some discussion points were given to help structure the conversation, but free exchange also took place – including comparisons of education systems, country contexts, and exchange of views from living room windows!
