Each year the Spica network applies for funding from Nordplus Higher Education to finance our activities. We are happy to announce that the network received funds for both student and teacher mobility and the intensive course in 2020.

The 2020 course will take place in Jelling, Denmark. The course will explore how sustainable development can be implemented in an education, and how global goals can be addressed in a local learning context.

Jelling is known as power-centre during the viking age, and the viking monuments of Jelling are part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The intensive course will focus on digital learning, playful learning, historical consciousness and sustainability.

In addition, mobility funding will allow students from the 7 network institutions to go on exchanges, placements and field-work visits, helping to build Nordic cooperation and contacts in teacher education
